The Libyan city of Benghazi hosted the “Nights of the Jareed Market” festival, which was organized by the Libyan Media Corporation of the Libyan government over two days.
The festival witnessed the participation of some of Libya’s brightest stars of art and culture, including Saif Al-Nasr, Mohammed Al-Wafi, Abu Bakr Mohammed, and poet Ali Al-Houni.
The “Beautiful Time” band participated in the festival, which was attended by a delegation from the US Embassy along with a large number of media professionals and citizens.
The Jareed market is of great historical and cultural importance, as it conveys the splendor of the past in a festive atmosphere that honors the sacrifices of the armed forces and the people of the city.
